The G4JNT personal beacon on 70MHz was replaced on 7 may 2010. The new one has much improved spurious outputs and is based around an Analog Devices AD9852 Direct Digital Synthesiser chip clocked at 200MHz. It transmits the beacon telemetry using PSK31 on a frequency of 70.031MHz (in the personal beacon portion of the band) with an EDRP of 0.5 Watts
