TALBOT JAMES MORETON PINKNEY BRACKLEY PETTY SESSIONS
JAMES TALBOT, FREDERICK PRESTIGE, AND WILLIAM BULL, ALL OF MORETON PINKNEY, WERE CHARGED WITH STEALING A MALE ASS, AS THAT PARISH,
THE PROPERTY OF JOSEPH SHAW. IT APPEARED THAT THE DEFENDANTS, WHO WERE BOYS, RODE THE DONKEY, AND THEN TURNED IT UP ;
BUT IT DID NOT APPEAR THAT THEY HAD ACTED IN A FELNIOUS MANNER, AND THEY WERE DISCHARGED
James was my great-great-great uncle, born 1830
... and from the 1844 sessions :
TALBOT WILLIAM UNION WORKHOUSE WELLINGBOROUGH COMMITTED THE COUNTY GAOL AND HOUSE OF CORRECTION ISAAC CHURCH & WILLIAM TALBOT, FOR 14 DAYS, FOR MISCONDUCT AT THE WELLINGBOROUGH UNION WORKHOUSE
So was William, born 1821
